post 14: Roles of women

 The roles of women have changed a good bit since that time. Women are allowed to do more stuff than just be a housewife and stay at home. However, a lot of jobs are still not available to women simply because they are women. Men are still dominant in the job area. I think it has gotten better but still needs a lot of work.

    This is definitely the key, things are better but not necessarily great or very different from how things were, a century ago. Gender pay gaps, sexual harassment etc. these are still problems even if a society that has made some advancements for women's rights.

post 2: Literature and me

Literature is in our lives on a daily basis. Since I am majoring in nursing, I'm not really sure how it will be relevant to my major. I think it will be relevant to the research papers I might possibly have to do. I think I would have to do a lot of reading. I would have to learn many definitions and names in the medical field. I really like definitions so that will not be a problem for me. I would most likely have to learn many cases and study them. I think this class and literature in general will help a lot and will be relevant somehow.
